The Excel command exports data to an Excel file, providing a structured format for storing and sharing data. Located under Export in the command palette.

  • Value Separator: Specifies the character that separates values in the exported file. The default is a comma, but you can choose another separator.
  • Timestamp: Adds a timestamp to the exported Excel file when selected. This option is cleared by default.
  • Retain: Prevents the exported file from being automatically deleted. This option is selected by default, so the file is retained unless you disable it.
