Command properties
Form field
Use Form input to select the source from which the desired content is loaded.- Input: Defines the content source for the HTML form. Static Value is selected by default.
- Data List: Passes input from a Data List command. The Agent can pull structured or repetitive data from this list and apply it dynamically during extraction or form filling.
- Command: Uses content generated by an earlier command in the Agent workflow as the form input.
- Agent Parameter: Loads input from an Agent parameter, a dynamic value defined at the start of the Agent’s execution.
- Action Result: Uses dynamic content from an AJAX response or a parent URL or Link command. The Agent can parse the content and inject it into the form field, which is useful for pages that load content asynchronously.
- Static Value: Lets you enter constant content directly in the form field.
- Script: Uses scripting methods and conditional logic to determine and populate the form-field content dynamically.
- Encrypt: Encrypts content entered in the form field. Use this option for sensitive data such as passwords or personal information. It is unchecked by default, so input is unencrypted unless you select it.
Selected action element
- When missing: Specifies what happens if the selected element is missing. The default is Warn.
- Fail: Generates an error in the logs and fails the Agent.
- Warn: Generates a warning in the logs and continues the Agent.
- Ignore: Skips child commands and moves to the next command.
- Passthrough: Ignores the missing element and continues executing child commands.
- When hidden or disabled: Controls selection based on whether an element is visible and enabled.
- Select: Selects visible and disabled elements that match the XPath.
- Ignore: Selects only elements that are present and enabled—that is, elements that match the XPath and are interactive.
- Selected action element: Displays the selected action element as non-editable HTML so that you can inspect it.
Action settings
The Action section determines which JavaScript actions the command performs. Clear Use default action script to customize the actions.- Action script: Defines the JavaScript actions to perform. The command generates actions automatically based on the selected form field; clear Use default action script to enter JavaScript actions manually.
- Use default action script: Uses the automatically generated action. Clear this checkbox to enter actions manually in Action script.
- Break List: Controls how the action affects page loads and the Agent’s behavior. Default lets Sequentum Cloud choose the appropriate behavior; you can also select Yes or No.
Browser
See the legacy Browser reference for more information.Wait for content
Wait for Content can wait for web content to appear on a page or for a specific URL to finish loading. When it waits for web content, select a web element in the browser; the parent Input Action command then waits until that element is available on the page. These settings are effective only when a browser wait selection is active in the current browser. The UI shows this requirement in a note at the top of the section.- Requirement: Specifies how the command handles waiting for content to appear or for a URL to finish loading. The default is Required.
- Required: Waits for the content or URL. If the content does not appear within the configured Wait for Content Timeout, the command fails.
- Optional: Waits for the content or URL, but the parent Input Action command does not fail if the content does not appear within the configured Wait for Content Timeout.
- No Wait: Completes the parent Input Action command as soon as the content appears, without waiting for it to load fully.
- Timeout: Sets the number of seconds between completion of the action and parsing of the page. The default is 60 seconds.
- Wait for removal: Waits for the selected element to be removed from the page before continuing. This option is disabled by default.
- Wait for visibility: Waits for the selected element to become visible before continuing. This option is enabled by default.
- Wait for change: Waits for any change on the page before continuing. This option is enabled by default.
- Search All Frames: Specifies whether to wait for all page frames to finish loading.
- Default: Inherits the setting from the parent command.
- Yes: Checks the URL of all frames and monitors all web requests that load content asynchronously.
- No: Checks only the selected frames.
