Browser properties control how agents interact with web content, including browser type, response capture, and performance tuning.

Browser settings

Target: Where a new page loads. Options:
  • Default — Opens in a new browser window (automatic selection).
  • Current — Loads in the same browser window.
  • Parent — Loads in the parent browser window.
  • New — Loads in a new browser tab.
  • Popup — Loads in a popup window overlaying the current one.
  • Async — Creates a new independent browser instance; parent does not wait for completion.
Browser target dropdown options Browser type: Type of browser for loading content. Default: “Default”.
  • Dynamic — Fully interactive browser that executes scripts and renders styles. Slower than Static mode but necessary for JavaScript-dependent websites.
  • Static — Lightweight browser loading only HTML and JSON without executing JavaScript. Faster but may not work on JavaScript-dependent sites.
Browser type selection Rotate proxy: When enabled, rotates proxies before each URL. Default: unchecked. Clear cookies and JavaScript storage: When enabled, clears cookies and local storage before a session. Default: unchecked. Ignore error codes if content is received, except for not found errors: When enabled, captures valid data even if the website returns improper status codes. Default: checked. Ignore not found error codes if content is received: When enabled, ignores HTTP 404 errors if content is returned. Default: unchecked. Random delay before action: When selected, adds a random delay before taking action. Customize minimum and maximum values. Defaults: 1000 ms (minimum), 5000 ms (maximum).

Browser response capture

Capture response headers and cookies: When enabled, retains response headers and cookies for export or analysis. Default: unchecked. Capture file: When enabled, captures complete response files. Default: unchecked. Capture response content: When enabled, captures response content as text. Requires a RegEx filter to specify what to capture. Default: unchecked. Example RegEx: .*/Dealer.* captures responses from URLs containing “/Dealer”. Capture response content configuration Naming format: How captured response content is saved:
  • URL file name — Uses the last segment of the request URL.
  • Sequential — Numbered files like 1.html, 2.html, etc.
Capture audio stream: When enabled, records audio streams in WAV or MP3 formats. Optional silence-detection feature. Default: unchecked. Capture requests: When enabled, specify regex patterns to filter and capture specific requests. Default: unchecked.

Dynamic browser settings

Wait settings: How long the browser waits for ongoing activities. Default: “Wait For Local Content”.
  • Wait for local content — Waits for user-specified web selections and URLs to load.
  • Wait for main page load only — Waits for the main page only.
  • Wait for all content — Waits for the entire page, including dynamically loaded content.
  • Wait for async loaded content — Waits for asynchronously loaded content (images, scripts, Ajax data).
  • No wait — Continues immediately without waiting.
Load images: Whether images load in the browser. Disabling improves performance. Default: “Default”.
  • Default — Based on agent settings.
  • Yes — Loads images for full visual content.
  • No — Prevents image loading.
Load styles: When CSS stylesheets are downloaded. Default: “Default”.
  • Default — Based on agent settings.
  • Yes — Loads stylesheets for proper rendering.
  • No — Prevents stylesheet loading.
Block ads: Prevents content from known ad servers. Default: “Default”.
  • Default — Uses agent’s default setting.
  • Yes — Blocks advertisements.
  • No — Allows advertisements.
Block requests between actions: Whether network requests are blocked during automated actions. Default: “Default”.
  • Default — Based on agent settings.
  • Yes — Blocks network requests between actions.
  • No — Allows all network requests.
Block URLs: Use regular expressions to block specific requests. Default: empty.

Dynamic browser timeouts

Timeouts: Categorizes timeout settings into five levels. Default: “Default”.
  • Default — Standard duration.
  • Short — Minimizes wait times.
  • Normal — Standard requests.
  • Long — Operations requiring extra time.
  • Very long — Tasks requiring extended durations (e.g., large uploads).
  • Custom — Define specific duration values.
Page load timeout (seconds): Maximum time for a page to fully load. Default: 15 seconds. Page initialization timeout (seconds): Time for initial page setup (scripts and resources). Default: 5 seconds. Async timeout (seconds): Time for asynchronous operations (API calls, data fetching). Default: 5 seconds. Discover activity timeout (seconds): Maximum time to search for specific activities. Default: 1 second. Discover first activity timeout (seconds): Time to find the first activity on agent engagement. Default: 2 seconds. Parse HTML timeout (seconds): Time allowed while parsing HTML content. Default: 3 seconds.

Static browser settings

Page load timeout: Maximum duration for page load. Default: 15 seconds. Fixed encoding: Character encoding for web pages. Default: UTF-8. Other options: ASCII, ISO-8859-1. Fixed encoding selection
