# Export properties

> Control data export behavior, including table separation, empty row handling, and dynamic column management for commands.

Export properties control whether extracted data is exported and how it is organized.

## Export option

The **Export** option determines whether command-extracted data is exported. Default: checked.

## Data required

The **Data required** property controls whether parent records without child data are included in the export. Applies only to parent-child commands (e.g., categories with products).

* **Default** — Behaves like **Yes** for relevant commands; no effect on commands without child data.
* **Yes** — Parent records without child data are excluded.
* **No** — Parent records always included, even without child data.

**Example:** In category-product commands, categories with no products are removed when Data Required = Yes or Default.

## Separate export table

Export data into a separate file. Default: unchecked. When enabled, a new file is generated using the **Export name** field. If multiple agents export to the same table, use the same export name.

### Export name

Name of the exported file (database table, spreadsheet, CSV). Default: command name if left blank. Must be identical across all agents exporting to the same table.

### Empty row handling

Action when an exported row is empty:

* **Keep** — Retains empty rows (default).
* **Remove** — Deletes empty rows.
* **Remove with error** — Deletes empty rows and increments error count.
* **Remove with failure** — Export fails if empty rows found.

### Empty table handling

Action when the exported table is empty:

* **Keep** — Retains the empty table (default).
* **Remove** — Deletes the empty table.
* **Remove with error** — Deletes the empty table and triggers an error.
* **Remove with failure** — Export fails if table is empty.

### Key name

Name of the primary key column in the exported table. Default: export name postfixed with "ID" if empty. Must be identical across all agents exporting to the same table.

### Key sort order

Sort order of the primary key column. Default: 0.

### Parent key name

Name of the parent key column in the exported table. Default: parent ID column name if empty. Must be identical across all agents exporting to the same table.

### Parent key sort order

Sort order of the parent key column. Default: 0.

## Export method

How data is exported. Default: "Add Rows" (append rows only; columns added separately).

### Add columns

Adds new columns to the table. Dynamically assign column names and values based on other commands:

* **Name command (optional)** — Data extracted by this command becomes the column header.
* **Value command (optional)** — Data extracted by this command becomes the column value.

### Add rows

Adds new rows to the table (default).
