# CSV

> Export extracted data to a CSV file with configurable separator, timestamp, and retention settings.

The CSV command exports data to a CSV file and is the default export format. Located under **Export** in the command palette.

## CSV export settings

* **Value Separator:** Specifies the character that separates values in the exported CSV file. The default is a comma, but you can choose another separator.
* **Timestamp:** Adds a timestamp to the exported CSV file when selected. This option is cleared by default.
* **Retain:** Prevents the exported file from being automatically deleted. This option is cleared by default, so the file is deleted unless you enable it.
